TEFL-YL (Cambridge CELT-P)

• Spring course dates: April 18 to July 28, 2017 (Closing Date for Applications: April 10, 2017)

• Winter course dates: August 28 to February 17, 2018 (Applications open!)

The English Teacher Training College TEFL-YL (Cambridge CELT-P) course is ideal for candidates seeking to gain experience teaching young learners. 

Course Prerequisites

• Experience teaching English and working with children
• An in-person, minimum one month TEFL certification (CELTA, CertTESOL or equivalent), Bachelors in Education, PGCE or equivalent preferred OR
• Two years' recent experience teaching ESL lessons
• 21 years of age or over.
• English is your first language (i.e. mother tongue) OR you speak English at a native level AND have lived the majority of your life in a native-English speaking country

Experience working with young learners (particularly experience in non-traditional, active teaching environments, such as summer camps, youth groups or outdoor education) is advantageous; however, all candidates are considered.

Successful candidates must produce a valid background check before attending the course. The College will provide the successful applicant with the paperwork required to apply for a student visa to study in Austria (not required for EU applicants).
